Shawn Monahan, CPA, CA
As a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 35 years’ experience in private industry and public practice, Shawn provides assurance, taxation and consulting services to a variety of clients.
Prior to joining Bruce & Monahan, Shawn ran his own practice. As well, he held senior financial positions with various companies; including Chief Financial Officer of a large regional construction company. The benefit derived from this role was developing a strong understanding of client needs of the owner of a private enterprise.
Shawn is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University. Outside of work, Shawn volunteers for a variety of causes. Shawn is a past President of the St. Francis Xavier Alumni Association and served on the St. Francis Xavier University Board of Governors from 2010 to 2015. Shawn is a past Chair of the Phoenix Youth Programs Charitable Foundation. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys travelling, running and golf.
