Julie MacPherson, CPA, CA
New to the firm in 2025, Julie came to Bruce & Monahan as a seasoned CPA, CA with over 20 years of multi-industry experience in financial management, reporting, strategic planning and restructuring.
As a graduate of St. Mary’s University’s Bachelor of Commerce program, Julie went on to earn her CA designation in 2005. Since then, her career has provided an unparalleled business perspective as Julie went from advising small-to-medium-sized organizations for 13 years at Halifax-based WBLI Chartered Accountants, to then becoming the client herself as Corporate Controller at I.T.S. Construction for nearly a decade.
With this unique dual experience as both the advisor and the client, as well as her commitment to delivering results, Julie supports Bruce & Monahan’s clients with a high level of service, trust and collaboration.
When she’s not at work, Julie resides in Brookside with her husband, Chad, and two children, Jocelyn and Aaron. In her spare time, she is an active volunteer and spectator for her kids’ sports, a loving dog mom, and a live music enthusiast.
